Here’s a new year’s resolution that makes sense

You're going to make them, and it won't be long before you break them. But here's one that makes sense.
here’s a new year’s resolution that makes sense

The hangover gone yet?

Shouldn’t have one in the first place, but that’s another discussion.

It’s the new year, and for some reason, your brain is telling you that this year is going to be better than the last, the same way it told you that last year would be better than the one before it.

But last year was a disaster; not better than the previous one at all.

Strangely, that allows for this year to actually be better than the last, right?

Your brain is also telling you that you should be making resolutions.

You know, those things you make to accompany a cricket chorus two months down the line, when Black Friday is once more around the corner and another Christmas looms.

Here’s my wish for you and yours.

A blessed year of finding the Lord Jesus Christ as being more than sufficient.

That, and racks filled with jars of a really good nut butter.

“But where can I find a good nut butter,” I hear the lady in the back asking.

Great question, and thanks for coming.

So, there’s this little nut butter manufacturer in Jeffreys Bay that makes a really good nut butter that tastes fantastic.

But it’s not just built on the taste factor.

It happens to be nutritious too.

What we have here, ladies and gentlemen, is a nut butter that’s filled with a handful of ingredients:

  • Macadamias
  • Cashews
  • Honey
  • Coconut oil
  • Salt

Five ingredients, and unless you lost some fingers in a freak accident, that means you get a handful of nut butter that’s as raw and natural as they come.

Is it nutritious?

Course it is. It’s as nutritious as nut butter can be.

It’s great for trail running, road running, cycling and other sports.

If you’re a free-diver, I’d recommend not taking it while underwater. Opening the jar under water’s just going to let salt water gush into the jar and that’s going to contaminate the nut butter.

Look, if you like extra salty nut butter, I suppose that’s okay, but that’s not my thing.

Any case, where was I?

Oh, yes, nutritious nut butter…

Good for you…

Contains only natural and raw stuff…

I guess the next thing is to give you the command to buy.

It’s not a command, per se. It’s more like a nudge.

But it’s a nudge in the right direction, cos this stuff tastes great and is good for you.

So buy some nut butter made in Jeffreys Bay and see that six-pack develop the moment you click the purchase confirmation button.

That’s a lie. That’s not going to happen. Don’t buy our nut butter cos you think it’ll give you a six-pack.

Buy it cos you know it’s good.

Happy New Year!
