It’s not that type of nut butter, unless you want to exfoliate

it's not that type of nut butter, unless you want to exfoliate

“Thing is, I can’t keep my brain quiet. I must keep busy, so I started making nut butter.”

“What type of nut butter is it? Cos there’s already a nut butter on the market. You do know about that one, right?”

“You talking about ButtaNut? I know them. Great product.”

“No, not them. The one I’m talking about is for cyclists. You, ahem, apply it ‘down there’. Helps with chafing.”

“Oooooohhhh. No, I don’t know about that nut butter.”

That was roughly a convo I had with a friend of mine who lives in Cape Town.

It’s during a weekly online meeting I have with two buddies.

At one point, the one who’d kept quiet during most of the above exchange inserted this gem: “your nut butter is definitely not the right kind for chafing, unless you want to exfoliate.”

That led to a well-deserved round of LOLs.

Just to clarify…

I use raw nuts for making Lush Yummy nut butter, but not those kind of nuts.
